Our primary line accommodates parts up to 27.5 feet. Extrusions, railings, curtain wall components, and architectural panels can be anodized in a single run for consistent color end to end.
Processes: Sulfuric Anodize Type II (Class 1 & 2), Type III (Class 1 & 2), and 2-Step Electrolytic Anodize.

NIA specializes in the finishes architects and manufacturers ask for most: clear, black, and bronze. Because color is sealed within the anodized layer rather than painted on top, it won’t chip or peel, and it keeps the natural metallic character of the aluminum.

BUILT FOR ARCHITECTS & SPECIFIERS
Anodized aluminum gives a building a rich metallic finish with a depth paint can’t match, because the color sits within the metal instead of on top of it. That look also has to meet a standard, and NIA knows what architectural anodizing requires. We produce AAMA 611-compliant finishes that can support projects pursuing LEED credits, and we anodize extrusions, curtain wall components, and panels up to 27.5 feet long in a single run for consistent color from end to end.

Anodizing is one of the most environmentally responsible metal finishing processes available — it uses no heavy metals or VOC-emitting coatings, and it extends the usable life of aluminum, reducing replacement and waste over a building’s or product’s lifetime.
