ANODIZING FOR THE INDUSTRIES THAT RELY ON ALUMINUM

Aluminum is light, strong, and easy to shape, and anodizing is what helps it last. The process builds a hard, corrosion-resistant layer into the surface of the metal, so the finish won’t chip or peel and holds up to weather, salt, wear, and years of use. NIA anodizes aluminum for architectural, solar, marine, industrial, automotive, and defense applications, handling everything from small machined components to 27.5-foot extrusions.

BIG PARTS. SMALL PARTS. ONE FINISHING PARTNER.

Whether you’re producing a small machined component or a 27.5-foot extrusion, NIA has the equipment and production flexibility to accommodate your project. Tell us about your material, application, part size, and performance requirements. Our team can help determine the right finishing process.

MORE THAN A FINISH

HOW ANODIZING WORKS

Anodizing is an electrochemical process that transforms the surface of aluminum into a durable, corrosion-resistant oxide layer. Unlike paint or other coatings that sit on top of the metal, anodizing becomes an integral part of the aluminum itself.

WHY ANODIZED ALUMINUM LASTS

The result is a finish that can provide corrosion resistance, durability, wear resistance, and a consistent appearance while maintaining the natural properties of aluminum.

FROM FACADES TO FACTORY FLOORS

From architectural finishes to high-performance industrial components, anodizing helps aluminum perform—and look its best.

BUILT FOR ARCHITECTS & SPECIFIERS

NIA understands the standards architectural anodizing has to meet. Our Architectural line supports AAMA 611-compliant finishes and can help projects pursuing LEED credits, with the long-length capacity to anodize extrusions, curtain wall components, and panels in a single run.
