PTFE COATING:
LOW FRICTION. BUILT TO LAST.
PTFE coating makes an anodized part slick. It lowers friction, releases materials that would otherwise stick, and adds another layer of corrosion protection, all without adding meaningful thickness or changing part geometry. It’s a smart upgrade for sliding components, precision parts, and anything that needs to run smoother and last longer.
WHAT PTFE DOES
PTFE (polytetrafluoroethylene) is applied over an anodized surface to reduce friction, improve release properties, and provide additional corrosion protection. The result combines the hardness and corrosion resistance of anodizing with the lubricity of PTFE in a single process.
WHERE PTFE MAKES SENSE
- Sliding or moving components where friction reduction matters
- Parts that contact food, chemicals, or other materials requiring a non-stick surface
- Precision machined parts where corrosion resistance and lubricity are both required
AVAILABLE FOR PRECISION COMPONENTS
PTFE processing is available for precision and tight-tolerance machined parts.
